After researching every make and floor plan for a 24′ travel trailer I decided on the 2021 Jayco Jay Feather X213 due to the expandable floor plan with bunks and modern kitchen, and of course, Jayco’s reputation with build quality and craftsmanship.

After my hunt in December, there weren’t any available, due to popularity. So reached out to Richardson’s RV online and was introduced to Jessica with the internet department. She talked me through the order process, helped me with my customization of the trailer, and placed an order for me with a great deal! I was so happy that the dealership wanted to earn my business and that Jessica was so clear, helpful, and honest about everything throughout the entire journey from order, to waiting time, to pick-up day 4 months later.

Overall had a great experience working with everyone at Richardson’s RV in Colton. Had been to a few RV dealers (won’t name names) but I’m guessing since RVs are selling like hot cakes… customer care isn’t a priority for them. We’d walk around the centers and were barely approached to see if we needed help.

We already had a specific travel trailer in mind so I emailed Richardson’s for a quote. I had also emailed other dealers but few people replied and those that did, didn’t seem to care. Patrick R. from the internet department emailed back promptly with all info I needed to know. Met up with him and he was great to work with. Not pushy, informative, didn’t try to upsell or sell anything I didn’t want or need and even suggested not getting things he knew we didn’t need. Even though I was dead-set on a specific one, he didn’t balk when I asked him to show me others just in case. Told me the pros and cons of different models and what to look out for. We upgraded from a pop up so this is a different beast. Gave me a lot of great tips.

Negotiating the deal was not stressful and was painless. He, and I believe his manager Jessica, worked with me and came up with a deal that we all were happy with
(at least I was, which honestly is all I care about as a consumer!). Didn’t feel fleeced or shafted. Tiffany in finance was also great to work with.

Pick up was also easy. Jeff gave my wife and I a great experience at our walk-through. Better give that man a raise… and have him do all the walk-throughs. Great guy. Left there perfectly comfortable with our purchase.

There was minor defect on one of the parts and Jessica offered to mail us a replacement part so we didn’t have to drive all the way back. We also had to have some parts replaced on our tow vehicle and we were there for a few hours. Random staff there would check on us a give us updates. Facility is very clean and spacious.

Since our purchase, we’ve had several questions after we picked it up and while a lot of salespeople would’ve disappeared, Patrick is still helping us get settled.

All in all, we had a very good experience top to bottom. Would highly recommend reaching out to Patrick to get stuff rolling and go from there.

I don’t normally do Yelp reviews, but after our recent experience purchasing a 2019 Winnebago View I thought I’d make an exception.  Buying any new vehicle can be stressful.  Buying a second home on wheels can be extremely stressful.  Jared D. at Richardson’s RV made it a breeze!  He was courteous and responsive from the very first point of contact.  We had a terrible experience at Giant RV just the week before and were very skeptical at first, but Jared restored our faith in people.  He is knowledgeable, patient and answered all questions that I barraged him with.  He made sure that we were comfortable in every way with our decision to purchase from Richardson’s.  Tiffany in finance was equally as attentive and got us a great rate on financing.  We are extremely happy with our purchase.  If you’re in the market for an RV, I highly recommend you contact Jared D. at Richardson’s RV in Colton.

Giving a BIG shout out to Richardson’s RV Internet Sales Team!!! This is my second purchase from Richardson’s RV. I want to thank Jessica for making this a great experience. I ordered my 2021 Jayco Precept 34G back in December 2020. Jessica kept me in the loop the entire time. I would recommend that everyone go online and work with the internet sales team!!!
As for the parts and service team, Scott and Jeff were amazing! Even though this isn’t my first RV purchase they took time to go over every detail and answered all my questions. Debbie in Finance was also great to work with and made the loan process easy.
